About me

Throughout my life, I have learned that you must create the spaces that you seek. With over 10 years of experience in the health and fitness world, I found that the trend and hype of fitness was never something that resonated with me. It was never about looking a specific way. Rather, it was about feeling and knowing that wellness starts from within.

As an Indo-Fijian, first generation American, I have always found myself struggling to find a place in which I belong. I am not Indian enough, nor am I Fijian enough. And although I was born in America, many times I am not American enough.

While¬† pursuing my Bachelor’s in Health Science (in the US), I quickly identified disparities in health care and took on the emphasis of community health. Shortly after completing my undergraduate degree I went on to get my Master’s in Sport and Event Management and sought out to create events and wellness spaces that my heart desired.

I am a yoga instructor and I guide with a focus on intentional breath with conscious movement. Yoga goes beyond your practice on the mat and with that comes reflection upon the 8 limbs of yoga. I am an advocate for selfcare with the understanding that it contributes to community health. I put an emphasis on providing services that are accessible to those of underprivileged communities.

I am currently studying to become an Ayurvedic Wellness Counselor through Kerala Academy and believe that health and harmony are found when the mind, body and soul are aligned.

When I’m not engaged in this work, I enjoy traveling, visiting the ocean and most importantly spending time with my loved ones and puppy.
