About me

Nisha Mody (she/her) is your Healing Hype Girl. She’s a coach, writer, facilitator, librarian, podcaster, and speech-language pathologist living on unceded Tongva territory, also known as Los Angeles.

Nisha’s favorite thing is to feel inspired and inspire others. As the daughter of Indian immigrants, who has gone through emotional, physical, and sexual trauma, she knows how heteronormative structures harm us, even if we conform to them. Nisha’s lived experience, clinical experience, fascination with language, collective mindset, and passion for connecting with others combined with her anti-capitalist, anti-racist, and feminist beliefs are central to her work in this space.

Nisha dreams of living in a compassionate and community-driven world where people feel safe, seen, and welcome. She’d love to hear what kind of world you’d like to live in or if you have any questions.
